POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction and supervision of the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Assistant delivers business goals through strong marketing campaigns. The Marketing Assistant will understand the full marketing mix and be familiar with ways to analyze market research and consumer behavior.

 

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Support brainstorming and ideation of new marketing campaigns.
  2. Collaborate with marketing design and content teams to create print and digital material.
  3. Help develop and implement strategies with marketing team.
  4. Support marketing campaigns and digital marketing by:
    1. Working with Marketing Manager and team to plan and implement marketing activities
    2. Assisting with organizing promotional events
    3. Supporting initiatives to improve reach to customers through SEO campaigns
  5. Conduct market research to identify new targeting opportunities.
  6. Create spreadsheets and analyze quantitative data to interpret ROI and KPI metrics.
  7. Create reports on marketing and enrollment metrics, e.g., conversion rates.
  8. Gather and analyze consumer behavior data (e.g. web traffic and rankings).
  9. Maintain and update records of marketing metrics and results of past campaigns.
  10. Prepare and share reports with Enrollment teams.
  11. Monitor peers' marketing activities.
  12. Assist in setting brand standards, mission, and goals.
  13. Maintain digital assets and collateral inventory.
  14. Establish workflows for evaluating internal marketing requests.
  15. All other reasonably related duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS (knowledge, skills, abilities):

  1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field.
  2. Proven work experience as a Marketing Associate, Marketing Assistant or similar role.
  3. Knowledge of marketing-related digital tools and techniques.
  4. Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions.
  5. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  6. Strong analytical skills with a goal-oriented attitude.
  7. Experience with SEO/SEM campaigns.
  8. Solid computer skills, including MS Excel, web analytics and Google Adwords.
  9. Displays high integrity and honesty, and an enthusiasm for marketing as a profession.

Your final compensation offer will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, education, and licenses/certifications. The pay range is expressed as an hourly rate regardless of FLSA status. Exempt positions are paid salaried and are not subject to overtime.
